• Hospitality industry consists of broad category of fields within the service

industry that includes lodging, restaurants, event planning, theme park,

transportation.

• Hospitality industry is a several billion dollar industry that mostly depends

on the availability of leisure time and disposable income.

• A hospitality unit such as a restaurant, hotel or even an amusement park

consists of multiple group such as facility maintainance, direct operations,

management, marketing and human resource.

• Hospitality industry covers a wide range of organisations offering food

service and accomodation.

The hospitality industry is divided into sectors according to the skill-sets

required for the work involved.

Sectors include accommodation, food and beverage, meeting and events,

gaming, entertainment and recreation, tourism services, and visitor information.

Usage rate is an important variable for the hospitality industry.

INTRODUCTION

Hotel is a place where all who conduct, themselves properly and who being

able and ready to pay for their entertainment, accommodation and other

services including the boarding like a temporary home”.

“It is home away from home where all the modern amenities and facilities

are available on a payment basis”.

The facilities like entertainment, food, accommodation etc are the core

services of a hotel.

Primarily and fundamentally, a hotel is an establishment which supplies

boarding and lodging not engaged in inter-state commerce’s

•Green Park decided to replace the older models in over 2,000

rooms with the ENERGY STAR vent fans. Since the switch, the
