To better serve the community, Maputo Private Hospital provides patients with a wide array of

medical facilities which include a total of 105 beds, casualty unit, three operating theatres (of which one is a laminar flow theatre), out-patient specialist consultation rooms, pharmacy, radiology departmnet, and Lancet laboratory.

ComfortDesigned with customer in mind, our unique ward configuration ranges from en suite semi-private (2,3 beds) and private en suite wards. All wards are equipped with modern electric beds, television and wifi connectivity, allowing for optimal patient comfort and safety. The hospital’s location removed from the CBD allows both patients and visitors to experience a natural and calm environment, fulfilling our quest to provide patients with a relaxing, convenient and professional medical experience.

including vigilant monitoring and intensive nursing. The High Care Unit provides committed care to patients who require a facility positioned between ICU and a general ward.

Neonatal ICUStaffed by experienced, caring staff, the fully equipped Neonatal ICU ensures that special needs babies receive the best care possible. The Neonatal ICU is adjacent to the nursery across the passage to the maternity unit.

PaediatricsFocused on providing a calming, relaxing environment for children, this happy Paediatric Ward is designed to relieve the stresses associated with hospital stays.

Theatre ComplexThree theatres (of which one a laminar flow theatre) make up the theatre complex. Each theatre is equipped with specialised air cleaning systems and equipment required to perform surgery.

24 Hour CasualtyTManned by skilled staff, this department is open around the clock to efficiently meet the emergency needs of patients, and offers transfer services for severe cases.

Hemodialysis UnitThis unit will operate and serve the needs of all renal patients in Mozambique and abroad and will operate in collaboration with Fresenius - South Africa.

RadiologyThe Radiology Department offers a full range of services including MRI, CAT scans, mammography, Ultrasound, bone density and general scanning. A secluded female area offers privacy and comfort for mammography and bone density scanning.
