Where  oh  where  has  summer  gone?    Kids  are  back  at  school—days  are  shorter—Labor  Day  is  gone.  Halloween  is  just  around  the  corner.                                                                      THANK  YOU  SO  MUCH    We  conGnue  to  be  so  thankful.  You  are  the  backbone—the  core  of  Horses’  Honor.    We  could  not  do  what  we  do  for  the  horses  without  you.    Thank  you  for  your  generous  donaGons  of  tack  for  our  annual  tack  sale  and  for  helping  with  the  event.  Thank  you  for  your  donaGons  for  Buy  a  Bale  or  to  honor  someone  special  in  your  life.    Thank  you  for  being  a  drop-­‐off  locaGon  for  people  to  donate,  and  thank  you  for  volunteering  again  and  again  to  help  at  Dollar  Days  at  Golden  Gate  Fields.                                

With  over  110  people  generously  dona5ng,  we  have  earned  enough  to  fill  our  barn  with  a  truck  and  trailer  load  of  hay.  This  is  the  only  5me  of  year  that  we  ask  for  money,  and  as  always,  you  have  come  through  for  us  and  for  the  horses  once  again…thank  you  so  much…    

Wow!    Did  you  see  that  hay  just  drive  in?    Makes  me  salivate!  

 Many  of    you  have  worked  the  event  before.    It’s  an  opportunity  to  enjoy  a  special  day  at  the  track  with  fellow  /sister  horse  lovers…enjoy  drinks  and  food…watch  the  races  and  enjoy  a  view  of  the  Bay.    No  set  up…no  take  down…no  money—people  pay  with  tokens.  Dress  in  costumes  if  you  like...  At  the  end  of  the  day,  we  make  $1,000  for  Horses’  Honor  Rescue—plus  Gps.        Let  me  know  if  you  can  make  it.    I’ll  add  you  to  the  list  and  send  out  a  reminder  later…Sidney—sidneysimpson@comcast.net
