Genre

• The Genre of my film I have chosen is Horror. I chose this genre as Halloween is coming up and a lot of people would go and see a horror film at this time of the year. Horror is also a wide market and is a high selling genre.

Audience

• My film will be aimed at young people form the ages of 16-25 as they are always looking so a thrill or fright. The film will be rated 16 so a lot of 16 year olds would come to see it.

Release

• The film will be released around Halloween time so around 28TH which is on the weekend or , 20th which a lot of young people in college/sixth form go on half term and have a lot of free time.

• Around 100 prints will be made for cinema only.• The film will be released in in main cinemas in

London town and other cinemas in towns. It will also be released up in Scotland as they have a high selling horror genre.

Horror Films

• Horror films started getting popular and well known in 1931 with Dracula and Frankenstein.

• There 649 films that reference to Dracula.• There is Hundreds of thousand horror films

that have been made.
