What’s happening?
• Landco is developing the old Winstone quarry near Mt Wellington
• The Ministry of Education is building a new school on the site
• The school is being “fast tracked” as part of the government’s “economic stimulus”
What will you do?
• 4 teams competing • Design a school for the future– 5 things to do …• Scale model• Computerised model (Sketchup and Google Earth)• How emerging technologies will influence• Formal presentation to explain all of your work
