What is Hootsuite?

HootSuite is a social media management system for brand management created by Ryan Holmes in 2008. The system’s user interface takes the form of a dashboard, and supports social network integrations for Facebook, Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn and other social medias.

To start, you have to add a stream – what do you want from which social media – Twitter for example:

Choose the Twitter account

Now you choose want do you want to see from this account

Now you’re talking…

And voilà! Info on the dashboard!

But why use it?

All info from all your social medias in one place.

You can schedule your posts, tweets etc.Get an analysis – get reports on how you

are doing.Counts with a mobile app.You only have to remember one password.

Tricky… Is it really that good?

Well, there are some cons…If you want all the features, it might get

more expensive than other managers, like Sprout Social.

Too much info in one place can be confusing.

Posts might not look as pretty as it would by posting directly on the platform (OCD attacks…) Next slide with examples
