Most of the world lives in the dark. It is a self-made darkness that comes from listening to our minds more than our hearts. It’s a darkness that comes from wanting to control our surroundings, putting limitations on life, forcing things to happen; it’s a darkness that comes out of our prejudices, fears, doubts, and worries. In short, it’s a darkness that comes from putting a chokehold on life. And there is a name for it. It’s called resistance to life. Fortunately, we can step out of the dark and into the light where we are, as Marianne Williamson said, “powerful beyond measure.” This journey begins by taking a new path. It’s the path of least resistance—a path where you consciously and gratefully allow for the flow of life to lead you to the happiness and truths you deserve. How do you get onto this path? “I” come forth from the void into light.
