The Salento International Film Festival (SIFF) is a celebration of films and filmmakers, promotes international independent cinema in recognition of the fact that movies are the most powerful form of cultural communication and link between cultures and peoples. The 5-day Hong Kong event, from May 8 through May 12, will bring a selection of the best films from the Salento International Film Festival. 7 Films from different countries: 3 Italian Asian Premieres; the successful comedy "It May Be Love But It Doesn't Show" by 2 appreciated Italian comedians, Salvatore Ficarra and Valentino Picone; the drama about infanticide "Maternity Blues" by Fabrizio Cattani and the new 23 min. short-film directed by Edoardo Ponti, the son of the Italian actress Sophia Loren, with Nastassja Kinsky and Enrico Lo Verso (Farinelli, Stolen Children) who will attend the screening; "7 Hours Difference" (Jordan); "Father's Lullaby" (Taiwan); "Women and Children" (United Kingdom) and "The Silent Thief" (USA).
