What are HOMOPHONES?

HOMOPHONES - Example 1

blew blue

The wind blew the tall tree. My mom has a new blue car.

In this sentence blew means the wind moved.

In this sentence blue is a color.

HOMOPHONES - Example 2

maid made

The maid works very hard. Mr. Joe made a box out of wood.

In this sentence maid names a person who has a job cleaning.

In this sentence made means created.
