Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a mystery,

and Today is a gift from God, which is why we call it the

present.

Top 4 Burgers and

Burger Joints in

Texas

Home’sCool was not paid or asked to do the shameless plugs in

this section.

We’ve polled the crew, recorded the

best results, and now we’re bringing

them to you! Tales of flavor-packed,

custom made and all-around

delicious burgers ahead! Some of

these places are located only in

Texas, so be sure to stop by if

you’re ever in town! Some others,

however can be located in several

different states, depending on

where you’re located. Bon Appétit!

The Bronson Burger,

My mom’s favorite is a wood fired,

handmade burger with cheddar cheese,

smoked bacon, grilled onions, grilled

jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes and pickle with

house dressing on a toasted poppy seed

bun. This burger is full of flavor and is a must if

you happen to be in Keller TX, which is its

only location.

250 S Main St, Keller, TX 76248

The Bacon Bleu Cheese Burger

It’s a Ground Chuck and Brisket blend burger

with bacon, crumbled bleu cheese and bleu

cheese dressing on a deliciously warm, toasted

poppy seed bun. This burger is amazing, and

has a bunch of flavor. It’s one of my all-time

favorites, and I get it almost every time I’m

here! Don’t think you can avoid their

legendary cheddar and bacon fries either,

because they’re simply irresistible!

We love Mooyah because it’s fresh, fun and

simple every single time. They’ll build your

burger exactly how you want it--be it lettuce

wrapped, or with turkey instead of beef, or

as simple as ketchup and mustard you’ll

have your very own custom-made burger,

every time. It’s really neat, which is why we

love it so much.

The Jerk Burger Another of my mom’s favorite burgers which is

loaded with authentic, intense spices and savory

Jerk seasonings that definitely do not disappoint. It

is dressed with crispy lettuce, fresh tomatoes and

thick, meaty bacon that compliments the melted

American cheese perfectly, all under a buttery,

oven-toasted bun. What holds everything together

is the special jerk sauce that they are known for.

Stay C's Kitchen daily menu is made with the

freshest ingredients and has the best Jerk burger,

thus far!

Q&A with Rielcro

Are all lobsters red? No, lobsters are usually dark blue or multicolored. They are only red once boiled.

Why do mosquito bites itch? Only female mosquitoes bite.

When they do, they make teeny tiny holes in your skin with the

sharp parts of their mouths, and as they take a little bit of blood, a liquid from their mouths enters your skin

which irritates the skin and causes it to swell and itch.

?

Can ANTS sew? Yes, some ants can sew. A special type of ant called the Tailor Ant, also known as the

Weaver Ant has a type of silk in its body that it uses to sew. These ants don’t sew socks with holes, or bites, the ant’s adaptation “equipment” allow them to sew living leaves that are still attached to a tree together.

20 Years later, and all of these

things fit in your pocket.

expression The letters don’t match the

actual words but are meant to

mean: You Don’t Even Know. This

acronym is OK in the world of

text language, but is read as

illiterate when said aloud.

YOLO /yoe-low/

exclamation

While the meaning of the

word isn’t all-to ridiculous:

(You Only Live Once), is what

irresponsible individuals

use as a terribly annoying

excuse to act stupid and

immaturely when in

normal situations that

appropriate OVO /oh-vee-oh/

noun While most people don’t know that the letters stand for

October’s Very Own, a Sound label. Some ignorantly yell it out as

an expression as they see other mis-informed people do.

When you hear people say this in reference to something

other than a sound label, know that the individual is trying

way to hard to be cool and have no idea what they are talking

about.

Howdy Y’all! This month I decided to tell you all a little bit about Chicago, Illinois! My family and I

visited not long ago, and I really enjoyed it! Read on to find some of Chicago’s best attractions and some

cool facts!

I also saw the cloud gate aka "the bean". The cloud gate is

shaped like a bean and reflects like a mirror.

I also saw the Crown Fountain! The Crown Fountain in Millennium Park is an

interactive fountain composed of two glass-brick towers, with

mixed media (light, LED display, water)

united by a black granite pool. I didn't get in the water but I got a close enough look at it!

The downtown area is just as beautiful at night as it is in the day-time. Everything is lit up and the skyline is absolutely breathtaking! It definitely is a sight to see. We visited the Navy Pier and we also visited Soldier Field. It was all very cool.

I did get a chance to try Garrett's Popcorn Shop for the very first time! It’s crazy popular and always has a line by the door, as if it were part of the décor! I tried the "Chicago mix" which includes the Caramel Crisps and Cheese Corn. The Caramel popcorn has deep buttery notes, sweet brown sugar and a Crème Brûlée crunch combine for a rich taste sensation. The Cheese popcorn has freshly-melted, sharp cheddar cheese and is stirred into each and every batch. It is super tasty and delish! I recommend that you stop by Garrett's Popcorn Shop at least once on your next trip to Chicago!
