What is Colic?

Remember ‘3 - 3 - 3’

Persistent attacks of crying or

screaming, often thought to be

caused by abdominal pain, that last

for:

• more than 3 hours,

• more than 3 days a week,

• for more than 3 weeks

RULE #1: YOU ARE NOT ALONE

ASK FOR HELP!

Parents can feel at their wits end with a colicky

baby, and can develop feelings of frustration,

anger, and even aversion to their baby.

This is completely normal & simply

indicates that you need a break.

Get some support as

you navigate this

challenging time.

RULE #2:

Know when to see your doctor

Contact your pediatrician to determine if something

else may be causing your baby's distress if there is

a significant change in tone or symptoms of your

baby's crying/colic, or if it is accompanied by:

lack of urination (diapers are drier than usual)

inconsolable, unstoppable screaming

persistent vomiting

diarrhea

constipation

Avoid foods that tend to cause gas or

allergies, especially if breastfeeding

Avoid Gripe Water unless you know the ingredients

Apply a warm towel to the belly

Give them an epsom salt bath

Keep them moving!

Massage the belly in a clockwise motion

Give organic plain yogurt with lots of live

probiotic cultures and no sugar

Instructions for Use

Potency: 6x or 12x

Dosing: follow label, or 2 tablets/pellets/drops per dose

How often? Every 15 minutes until relief is obtained.

When to stop? As soon as symptoms start to improve.

If there is no improvement after 3 doses,

stop and try a different cell salt.
