INTRODUCTION

You are a police investigator and you have been assigned to investigate what physical activities you can doat home and report on them in your police journal. Youare also assigned a fieldwork investigation where you will investigate your local community to find what physicallyactive programs are available. Report back to the police station and present your findings to your peers.

Investigate:

A period of time when you could be engaged in physical activityat home.

CONCLUSIONStudents at the end of this WebQuest will understand the benefits of exercising and increase physical activity at home. To build upon knowledge students have in regards to this WebQuest I will introduce nutrition activities into the classroom. I will also introduce lessons which will involve deeper material of the function of the heart. Extension activities will include continuation of homework assignments. Students will be required to engage in at least 30 minutes/5 days a week of physical activity at home. To be awarded participation and homework points students will need to submit a description of the activity performed and will need to be signed by a parent or guardian.
