Country of origin must be on the front side of the label English and French language are required by NPG. Location of label: Products with a neck - label must be in the Center Back

Neck. All other products - conspicuous location, easily found by the consumer. e.g. for bottoms a label sewn into the inside waistband would be readily accessible.

Textile Labelling and Advertising Regulations (C.R.C. / c. 1551)Part 1 - labeling; Part 3 - textile fibre

Generic name of the fiber must be used. Fibers are listed in descending order of predominance. Follow the label listed in the tech pack and as

recommended by the testing lab.

RN # & CA # 16 CFR 300/303 Textile labeling and advertising regulations (C.R.C. / c. 1551) sec 11 & 12

NPG requires manufacturers to use the NPG RN & CA numbers on all private label products.

The RN & CA numbers are listed in the Tech Pack.

Care Label (if labeled) 16 CFR 423 Canadian Standard for Care Labeling of Textiles /ASTM Care

Care label must be sewn in permanently. Follow the care label listed in the Tech Pack.

Quebec Bilingual Requirement - Charter of French Language

Quebec, R.S.Q., c. C-11 NPG requires country of origin, fiber content and care label to be in English and French.

Upholstered & Stuffed Articles Labeling CPSD-SL-PTCL-01990-CAN Canada requires the manufacturer to obtain a registration

number from 3 provinces Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. Applies to all upholstered and stuffed products, apparel,

accessories, slippers, padding in back packs etc. All new material must be used, specific cleaning process

for feathers and down. A separate sewn in label with a specific format is required Follow the label listed in the Tech Pack.

Law Label International Sleep Products Association US

Must comply with all US and Canadian requirements. Manufacturer, packaging or distributors name & address

(or RN, CA number). Product identification. Net quantity of contents. Dimensions (English & Metric).
