While you are traveling, you can spell the street
names, signs, store names, listening to the
radio, or with someone.

you sign.

We want to be heard and understood and taken seriously. Most of us will consider it rude if you don’t look into our eyes and listen. If you look at other
things when we are signing, it is like you are not interested in
what we want to say.

Most of the Deaf will consider it rude. It is just the same as you putting your hands
on your ears.
