SUMMER 2019 THA NEWSLETTER From the President’s desk . . . Hi Neighbors , It’s springtime in Texas! We’ve gone from the threat of “very large hail, strong winds and tornadoes”, which we thankfully missed, to another beautiful weekend! Did you see all the innovative ways people were trying to protect their vehicles from the impending hail? There were some very inventive ideas out there! We are seeing lots of cleaning out and renovation activities throughout the neighborhood. It’s exciting and liberating to get rid of “stuff”, isn’t it? Maybe you were able to “unload” some stuff at the neighborhood garage sale. But AGAIN I need to ask you to respect your neighbors and your neighborhood, by putting items at the curb at APPROPRIATE times. I’m seeing lots of debris placed at the curb on Fridays and weekends. Some of this is taken by CWD on Monday, but much of it remains at the curb until the FOLLOWING Thursday. PLEASE consider this when putting things out. You can visit the City of Azle website for information on what is picked up, when. Another point is that the longer you have refuse at the curb, the more vulnerable you become to identity theft! Be careful! And about renovations — be sure to review the D&Rs, available online at www.timberlakeestates.org, for rules, and the necessary architectural form. Architectural Committee Chairman Nipat Attavit will get those approvals back to you quickly so there’s no holdup. A HUGE thank you to Misty Capko and the block captains for a great Easter egg hunt and block party two weeks ago. Thanks also to all who turned out, brought food, cooked ribs (of course the Grillmaester Bon Ray took home the trophy for that, deservedly) and generally participated and had a blast! Reservations
The restroom at the beach is open. The
combination is 0740. Remember to use the
deadbolt inside the restroom for privacy. If
the deadbolt is not used, the door can always
be opened by anyone who knows the
combination. Please report any problems
with the restroom to Veronica Merrill at 817

pavilion reservations, 817 456-3793 Only one pavilion can be reserved at a time.
No reservations are allowed on Memorial
Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. The boat
ramp is to be accessible to all at all times.
