Steps:

1. Connect the USB wireless dongle to the USB port on the receiver.

2. On the Toppro receiver, go to Installation > Network Setting > IP Setting > Wired/Wireless LAN and then select Wireless.

How the Home Media works

Designate media fi les to share

To allow other media share featured devices to access media fi les on your receiver, you must choose folders and fi les you want to share with other networked devices. The networked devices will only access those folders you designate asbeing shared.

Go to Entertainment > Home Media >File Manager > My HardDisk > Share Setting menu and set the folders you want to share to Share.

Changing the server name

To check the server name of your receiver which appears on other networked devices as an identifier of the receiver, go to Entertainment > Home Media menu. The default server name is [HomeMedia] Topfield PVR specified at the DMS Name option. To change the name, press the OK button on the name, then the on-screen keyboard appears for your renaming.

Accessing media contents stored on other devices

You can browse shared folders on other networked devices and select music to listen to, or photos and videos to playback.

1. Go to Entertainment > Home Media > Share Device List menu, then select a device which stores media contents you want to play.

Note: If no device is listed, make sure if the media server is connected, or check that the home network is properly configured.

2-1. Select a media file you want to play, then press the OK. Then the receiver will pull and play the selected file.

2-2. If you want to make any other networked device play your selection, press the button (instead of the OK in Step 2-1), then select a device you want to use as a player.

2-3. If you want to copy your selection to the Toppro receiver, press the button (instead of the OK in Step 2-1), then the selected media file gets copied into the digital receiver’s hard drive. You can check the downloaded media files on only the FTP server of the Toppro receiver.

Note: Some files may not be accessed or played depending on the file format or the media player. Also, some digital media servers (DMS) may not work with this receiver.
