Warm up: Practise reading your letter flashcards from your pack. Say the letter name and what sound it makes. Littlescribe!  Watch and listen to the workshop by author Susanne Gervay. Learn how to plan a great character for your story! The link and task will be on your class dojo morning post.   AND  Log on to PMeCollection and read your text.

Warm up: Use the number chart from your pack to practise counting out loud. Can you get to 30? How far can you go? Next: Watch the video and listen to your teacher talk about halves. You can find the link on your class dojo morning post. Then: Investigate halves! How many ways can you fold a piece of paper in half? How do you know it’s half? Talk about the task with a family member.  Share a photo of your learning in your portfolio!

Shadow boxing Shadow box for two minutes! Punch the air up high, in the middle and down low. Have a drink of water and try for another two minutes. How many times can you do it before getting puffed out?

Olympic Rings The Olympic rings are five interlocking rings, coloured blue, yellow, black, green and red on a white background. The rings to represent the five continents of our world: Europe, Africa, Asia, America, and Oceania. Have a go at colouring the rings found in your pack.

Get Moving Move your body in creative ways! Try adding your movements to music.

Olympic Torch The Olympic torch is lit at the site of the ancient Olympics in Greece and transported by relay to the place where the Olympic Games are to be held.

Handwriting Complete the handwriting assessment page. How are you going with forming your letters? Remember to sit correctly and hold your pencil with the correct grip.

How far can you jump? Hop, step and jump as far as you can! Measure how far you jump and try to improve with each turn.

Japan - Cherry blossom Cherry blossoms are a popular tree in Japan. The trees have small pink or white flowers that only last a couple of weeks. Have a go at creating your own cherry blossom tree using the template in your pack or drawing your own tree. You can use the pink and white paints in your packs from last week to show the cherry blossom flowers.

Origami – Chatter box Follow the instructions found in your pack to make a Chatter Box.

How high can you jump? Run and jump imaginary hurdles. Try adding some pillows or soft toys to jump over.

Design your own soccer ball Soccer is a popular Olympic sport. Have a go at designing a new soccer ball. You may like to use just a black pen or pencil, or lot of colours. There is a soccer ball picture included in your pack.

Boggle There are many letters that are given to you in your Boggle word puzzle. Find as many words as you can using these letters! Challenge: The letters you use in your word must be touching.

How fast can you run? Run as fast as you can from one point to another. Practice a few times, trying to get faster each time.

Step by step drawing – Japanese Dragon A Japanese dragon is a mythical animal from Japan. Have a go at following the instructions in your pack to draw your very own Japanese dragon. Make sure to colour or paint it and share a picture on your portfolio.
