Design a new zoo enclosure

for your favourite animal. Think about

where that animal likes to live– does it

like to live in warm, wet or cold places?

What does it like to eat? How much

space it will need.

Draw and label your new enclosure

before then using junk modelling to build

it.

Research the different types of animals you

see at a zoo. Which one is your favourite?

Draw a picture of your favourite zoo

animal and then write a description about

that animal explaining why it is your

favourite. You could include interesting

facts, use adjectives to describe what it

looks like, where it likes to live or what it

likes to eat.

Think carefully about the fabric you

will need to use i.e. if they work

with penguins or seals their uniform

may need to be waterproof. If they

work with the monkey’s they may

need a uniform which is more

stretchy.

Draw the uniform and label the

different fabric you have used

explaining your reasons.

pair of binoculars, and then use these to

spot in your garden or when you go for

walks in your local environment.
