I like short journey travel sometimes. It is less hassle and not too tiring but still gets to enjoy moments of relaxingfreedom away from the hectic working lifestyle.

Thanks to the opportunity and lovely arrangement from the friendly team of Philea Resort & Spa, I get to visit thisamazing place and be pampered over the wonderful weekend stay of 2 days 1 night. Located in the fastdeveloping area of Ayer Keroh Malacca, it was a driving journey around 2 hours from the Kuala Lumpur city.

I took a stroll around the Philea Resort area and snapped few photos along the way :

The path leads to some of the Pavilion Rooms that located further in. More than 3,000 trees were planted withinthe resort to conserve and restore the natural resources.

I like this piece of artistically crafted wooden chair that placed at the lobby. Saw many guests love to sit on it andtake photo. It kinda amazed me when I learned that recycled materials from shipwrecks used as furniture in thelobby.

After the dinner, we headed to Chill Out Bar for some drinks refreshment and enjoyed the cool vibe performancesfrom Night Rhythms, which lineup includes varied selections of music ranging from the oldies, jazz to rock.The band performs daily starts at 9 p.m. except Sunday.

I am a pastry person. The breakfast buffet spread offered quite a lot of varieties, from Malaysian favorite NasiLemak to the western style of scramble egg and waffle.
