and Eastern.

This continent is the second largest continent. It

covers 11,700,000 square miles. Africa`s population is 1,027,783,000 . The highest

point is Kilimanjaro, Tanzania at 19,340 feet. The lowest point is Lake Assal, Djibouti at 512 feet below sea level. The longest river is the Nile. The biggest lake is Lake Victoria.

Africa is divided into 54 independent countries. It has eleven offical languages: English, Afrikaans,

world famous. On December 16th, South Africans celebrate Reconciliation Day. Africa has different kinds of land: mountains, deserts, plateaus, grasslands, forests, and swamps.

Australia`s lowest point is Lake Eyre, South Australia. Its biggest river is the Murray-Darling River which is 2,310 miles long. Australia’s biggest lake is Lake Erye.

Australia is famous for its unique animals. It is also home to some dangerous animals and the world’s ten most poisonous snakes. It is surrounded by water and has three major land regions: Eastern Highlands, Central Lowlands, and the Western Plateau.

The four principal oceans are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, and the Arctic Ocean. There are 11 major seas. The largest one is the South China Sea.

The largest Ocean is the Pacific at 64,186,300 square miles

in area. The deepest spot in the Pacific is 12,952 feet.

The waters of the oceans are all connected. The ocean Pacific holds about half of the water in the world.
