Voice Exercise 2

The following sentences tell the process of creating comic books. Change them

into the passive voice. If the voice of a sentence cannot be changed mark it a

cross.

1. The creator of a comic book thinks of a theme.

2. The creator writes the story and dialogues of the comic book.

3. The creator gives the finished story to the penciller.

4. The penciller draws the overall look of the comic with a pencil.

5. The inker gives the penciller's work a finished and complete look.

6. The colourist colours the inker's work.

7. The letterer adds words, speech bubbles and think bubbles to the comic.

8. An editor checks the work to check if something is wrong

9. Now the printer prints the comic book.

10. The publisher may sell the comic book as an e-book too.
