SACRAMENT OF THE SICK The Pastor invites any person who is going to the hospital to receive this Sacrament. Also invited to receive the Sacrament are those who are ill or elderly who cannot come to Church. Please contact the rectory to arrange for the celebration. collection for our neighbors in need. Please bring your nonperishable food to Mass next weekend or to the Rectory

during the week. Currently we are in need of rice, cereal, dry or canned beans, macaroni & cheese, crackers, beef stew, powder milk, peanut butter, jelly, Spaghettio's, bottled pasta sauces, pasta, canned Soups, meat, fruit and vegetables, coffee, tea. Our council would also ask that any donations of food NOT BE OPEN, NOR OUTDATED, and please NO DENTED CANS.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES Classes are held on Sundays as scheduled. Students in K-8 meet at the Parish Center approximately three times per month. High School Confirmation students meet in the Rectory Meeting Rooms about twice per month. All classes are held from 10:15-11:45. For further details you may call Mary Crow, the Director of Religious Education, at 978-504-9308. For Spanish, call Ivette Chakar at the Rectory during office hours.

SPRING BASKET RAFFLE The Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality will be having a Spring Raffle after all the Masses during two upcoming weekends: April 6 & 7 and April 13 & 14. Two items will be raffled off. The first is a beautiful spring floral wreath which includes 10 'lucky' scratch tickets. The second is a great basket of Easter goodies. The drawing will take place on April 15th.

"Our Tenebrae Service (service of darkness) will be held on Wednesday, April 17th starting at 7:00 PM in the upper church. If you would be interested in being a light attendant, please submit your name and phone number: Attn: Tenebrae Service. A member of our committee will contact you to arrange your participation and confirm you can practice with us on Tuesday night, April 16, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the upper church. Growing up on the edge of poverty, Hector wrestled with homelessness, and was struggling to find food. While playing basketball in a local Church league, he met Fr. Paul O’Brien, who encouraged him to go to college.

Fr. Paul was there for Hector at every step of his journey to college and beyond. With his help and guidance, Hector went on to play basketball for Regis College, graduate, and now works as a school counselor to give back to students the same hope and inspiration he received. Like Fr. Paul, our senior priests in good standing have been helping others for decades.

As we celebrate this Easter with our families and friends, please remember the Boston priests who have helped us along our life journey and consider making a gift of thanks to the special Easter collection for their health and retirement needs.
