Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
Pope John Paul II
WISHING YOU ALL A VERY BLESSED EASTER!
ALLELUIA, THE LORD IS RISEN!
A BIG THANK YOU: On behalf of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and myself personally, I would like to express our gratitude to the many volunteers who work so tirelessly throughout the year contributing to our parish liturgies. Although the results of their labours may not be readily apparent week after week it is at times like Easter and Christmas that their dedication and commitment is particularly no-ticed. These volunteers include those who decorate our church and sanctuary week after week espe-cially the florists. There are also the musicians and singers in our choirs whose contributions beautify our liturgies throughout the year. I would also like to thank those who selflessly offer their services as altar servers, lectors, extraordinary minsters of the Eucharist and ushers whose efforts may be taken for granted but their absence would be deeply felt. May God bless all of you with the fullness of His Easter Blessings now and throughout the year es-pecially every Sunday when we revisit the empty tomb and celebrate the Glory of Easter. Fr. Lawrence Holland, Pastor
