PLEASE have Holy Family in your will or as a memorial at the time of a loved one’s death. Also, have our parish as a beneficiary in your insurance policy.

EVER THOUGHT OF BEING A PRIEST? God maybe calling you at this very moment to serve Him by being a priest for the Diocese of Springfield. Our Catholic Church needs more people to answer His call to priest-hood. If you may be interested, please call Fr. Joe at 423-6223.

INVITE SOMEONE BACK TO CHURCH!!

DEAR PARISHIONERS: This Sunday is Father’s Day! Happy day (and week?) to all those in our parish who are fathers in any way. Thank you for your ministry of fatherhood to your children & grandchildren & all those in your care. May you con-tinue to be those examples of faith, compassion, respect, & love to those around you, especially those with whom you live. Thank you, dads, for being such life-givers to your fami-lies. Your strength & wisdom are much-needed in this day & age to help guide your children in the ways of the Lord & to share with them the richness of your experi-ence & counsel. Thank you, dads, for being such good husbands. May the love you have for your wives be exemplary. Thank you, dads, for living your faith & coming to Mass with your families. What a powerful message to them & to all of us. Thank you, dads, for your sacrifices for your children. May they see your giving & sharing & be inspired to do the same. Thank you, dads, for all you do for the Church universal, your local Church of Holy Family, & your domestic Church---your family at home. And to all those dads who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith----may you enjoy the eternal peace of heaven with the Father of all life! May all of you dads know of my special prayers on your special day. You will be remembered at Mass this week-end. FROM THE “OTHER TYPE OF FATHER,” FATHER JOE P.S. MUCH THANKS to our parish secretary Joanne Kater & her crew for Vacation Bible School this past week! They did an amazing job. Hours & hours of preparation went into providing enjoyable, fun, & learn-ing days for our young people. May the Lord bless all who had anything to do with our VBS!
