Halo Masyarakat Keluarga Holy Family, I wrote in the last newsletter about the responsibility of parents in regards to your child being absent from school. The school also has new responsibilities and I have outlined them in the chart below.
The new requirements of parents and the school are designed to make sure that the children are safe and their whereabouts are known. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Hello Holy Family Community! My name is Suzanne Deefholts and I will be taking on the role of Religious Education Leader. I look forward to meeting you all!
Don’t forget about the Reconciliation Workshop evening for parents and year 4 students on Thursday 17th of May at 6pm.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated on Thursday 31st of May at 7pm
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, right before your Ascension into heaven you told your apostles to be His
witnesses to the ends of the earth upon receiving the Holy Spirit. May I be similarly inspired to spread your Gospel message in word and deed, according to your will for me. And may I do so
prudently and joyfully, with your help, your guidance, and your grace! And remembering this glorious
event, help me to seek what is above, Heaven, where you are seated at the right hand of God the Father!
“ Thankyou to all the mums, other relatives and guests who joined us to celebrate
Mother’s Day at Holy Family. We began the day with a beautiful Mass, followed by a
family art activity. Our event concluded with a delicious morning tea.
“I really enjoyed my mum and my grandma coming to the Mothers Day Celebration
today because we got to spend a lot of quality time together. “ - Eva Year 5

Last week the 5/6 students went to Alambee camp. It was a long
drive to Yarragon.
On the first day we were introduced to a fun game called gaga ball
which Vanessa, the camp instructor, taught us how to play.
After we were introduced to our cabins we were split into two groups. One group did the giant swing and one group did the vertical
climb. The swing was super scary and super fun and the vertical climb
was really high and really challenging. After dinner we went on a night walk through the bush. When we got back we roasted
marshmallows around a campfire.
On day 2 we did different activities. We got split into three groups and did archery, absail tree, low ropes, geo caching and billy carts.
At night we all got together and watched two movies one was called
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and the other was The Incredibles.
It was fun and inspirational. I hope we brought back a lot of good
memories.
On our sleep over the 3/4’s went to Gunn's Reserve. We had a scavenger hunt where we had to find lots of items like plastic bottles, rope, cans and other items that were on a list given to us by the teachers. We also caught some creatures from the lake with nets, fed some ducks and did some sketching. At lunchtime some of the parents came and cooked lunch on the BBQ for us. We had lots of fun on camp. When we got back more parents came and had dinner with us. A big thank you to Mrs Blaney for making the delicious pasta bakes for all the children and parents. By David Y4 and Margaret Y3 Giaccotto
