BAPTISM REPARATION
CLASS Holy Family offers Infant Baptism Preparation for parents on the 2nd Monday

To make the scheduling of the baptism at Holy Family as easy as possible for new parents, we encourage you to attend class this before your child is born. After the class is completed, a simple telephone call to the office is all that is required to schedule the baptism. To sign up for Infant Baptism Preparation, please call the office at 302-368-4665.
Many Thanks to All from the St. Vincent dePaul Society
The St. Vincent dePaul society thanks everyone who helped make our Thanksgiving Day Turkey Project a success once again! We received turkeys, script cards, and monetary donations from our generous Parishoners. This selfless giving helped 30 families in our area enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner they may not have had. A special thanks to the Knights of Columbus who continue to support the efforts of SVDP. May God Bless each of you this holiday season for helping the less fortunate in our Parish and Community.
Many Thanks to Allfrom the St Vincent dePaul Society

Winter is
coming and the cold is settling in and so warm foods are appreciated.
We could definitely use:
Soup, Oatmeal, canned Pasta, Tea Bags , frozen waffles,
frozen pancakes, syrup and other foods that would warm
people up during the cold weather. Anything you donate
is appreciated.
The Outreach Team appreciates your help and those who have had their
hunger satisfied, thank you.
Holidays are here. More shopping is needed. Please buy SCRIP and help Holy Family.
It costs you nothing more and it benefits us. Thank you

“IN TALKING WITH YOUR CHILDREN, have you neglected to raise the call to Church ministry? The process of answering God’s call begins in childhood. Throughout adolescence and adulthood, the attitudes assumed in childhood begin to influence the course of one’s life. A vocation or a talent will not grow to fruition unless it is nurtured in childhood and adolescence by a parent. Often children talk about what they want to be “when they grow up”: doctors, lawyers, athletes, nurses, movie stars, teach-ers, carpenters. They may talk about these roles, but do they ever talk about being a priest, sister or brother? You are the hand of God — encourage your children to consider Church ministry.

Mentors Wanted Do you have 30 minutes to
spare on a Tuesday or a Thursday?
Well, if you do I have the perfect job for you. Heritage Elementary School at 2815 Highlands Lane is looking for adults to mentor a student. Many students develop a greater sense of belong-ing and increased self-confidence as a result of working with a school based mentor. This is a great way to connect with a child and do service for the community. Anyone interested should contact Connie Euston, Mentoring Coordi-nator at (302) 454-3424 ext.103 or at [email protected]. Thank you!
