500 SeriesSlip rings are commonly used to transfer electrical signals and power to a rotating shaft.
The Orbex 500 series is ideally suited to applications where signals and power need to be transmitted in a compact space and a through hole is required for a shaft or other feed through.
The 500 series utilizes a modular design that allows for unprecedented flexibility with respect to package size and circuit count. Units can be supplied with one of 10 standard bore diameters and many combina-tions of high current power circuits and low current signal circuits.
The use of advanced channeled brush technology greatly increases service life by providing multiple contact points and low contact force to dramatically reduce wear.
