ACCOUNTANCY
1. A decorated project file (without cover) is to be made containing three projects
according to C.B.S.E in a good handwriting
Project details are – Comprehensive problem
Journal, Ledger A/c’s, Trial Balance, Trading Profit and Loss A/c,
Balance Sheet, Profitability, Turnover and Solvency Ratio’s
(with
Comments and diagram) and Cash Flow Statement (with
comments and diagram)
Two specific problems
• Ratio Analysis
Collect the company ‘s Profit & Loss A/c & Balance Sheet
either from the Internet or from the Company’s Annual
report for the two consecutive current years i.e 2016-17 &
2017-18 and make comparison out of it for the following
ratio’s:- Profitability, Liquidity, Turnover and Solvency
Ratios (with comments and coloured & labelled diagrams
along with each ratio)
� atleast six ratios of your choice
� attach photographs of co. directors, management and products in the co.
deals.
� paste Profit &loss A/c and Balance sheet of the company from which
the ratio’s have to be calculated.
• Segment Reporting
Prepare a segment wise analysis of firm’s data along with the
coloured and labelled diagrams
Note: Current year data should be taken for all the three projects. All your comments
and conclusion should be in a box i.e highlighted. Diagrams should be well
labeled and decorated.
Submission date for the Project is 20th
July i.e Friday. No files will be accepted
after that date.
1. Learn all the formulas for calculating ratio’s and the format for comparative and
common size statements.
2. Practice the company’s Balance Sheet according to Companies Act 2013 i.e it’s
major headings and sub headings according to the revised format.
3. Do complete the miscellaneous exercise of Ratios in your assignment registers.
4. Revise all the chapters done so far.
5. Paste the handouts provided to you along with concerned chapters in your
assignment registers.

ECONOMICS
I. Prepare materials for Economics Project file as directed in class room discussion. The
additional guidelines for the project is given below.
1. You may select any topics given in syllabus. {do it as assigned in classroom discussion}
2. You can choose other relevant topics related to economics such as GST, Demonetization,
the role of IMF, the banking system etc.
