Holidays are an integral part of a student’s life. It is a time for fun, a time to explore and a time to learn in different ways. When holidays are given a meaningful direction, it results in a productive and enjoyable time. Let’s use these holidays to pursue some hobbies and apply our minds creatively to learn new things and to bring a change in the environment, in our own individual way.


Lazy days,

Splish splash at the pool.

Rays of sunshine,

Ice cream and popsicles too,

Giggles and smiles,

Travel and fun,

Basking in the sun.

Fun, food and cool drinks,

Lemons, whites and pinks.

Its Summer time,

Enjoy the rhyme.

Have a great vacation,

Enjoy your holidays but keep learning.

Last week my teacher, Pratik sen, told us that we could study any animal habitat for the

next week of science class. I decided to research ocean life, and I learned a lot! Did you

know that a group of fish is called a school of fish? A pod of whales travels together,

usually searching for food or warmer water. Two or more squids are called a shoal of

squids. By far my favorite group of animals I learned about is a rookery of penguins. To

me they are the most like humans and the most entertaining. It gives me much happiness

to know these things for out knowledge.
