HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD

• We moved into a new home recently. It’s always a feat to break out the Christmas holiday decor and figure out where to put it in a new space.

• This year I wanted my holiday decor to be simple and pretty. I love the look of boxwood and new it would be a perfect touch this year for my holiday decorating.

HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD: THE GARLAND

• To make the garland, I twisted two boxwood garland swags together. This made the boxwood look a bit fuller, but not too full.

• I used baker’s twine to tie up the pieces on my bannister. Baker’s twine works great because it won’t hurt the wood like wires or adhesive.

• I tied each end and section up wth a white burlap ribbon bow. It looks so pretty on my staircase.

HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD: THE WREATHS

• I had so much fun making these boxwood wreaths to display this holiday throughout my home.

• Boxwood wreaths are so easy to make and are beautiful!

HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD: THE WREATHS

• I went out of a limb and painted the boxwood garland pieces with gold spray paint. I love how they turned out! I cut the painted boxwood into 2 foot sections and tied the ends together in a circle to create mini wreaths.

• These gold boxwood wreaths are perfect for dining room chairs. Just tie up with a white burlap bow!

HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD: THE WREATHS

• Other fun places to add boxwood wreaths, are doors and windows.

• I love the smaller boxwood wreaths hanging from my back doors. I love the simplicity of the white burlap ribbon that I used to hang the wreaths.

HOLIDAY DECORATING WITH BOXWOOD BALLS

• I love these boxwood balls that come in small, medium and large sizes. I love to add these balls to lanterns, vases or make them into topiaries.

• So many possibilities with this beautiful boxwood for the holidays! How would you use boxwood in your home this holiday?
