Minist&’ Oppor-.nities for the Holidays Christ8as in a Shoebox What a difference a shoebox can make! Shoeboxes are filled with small, age appropriate toys and gifts. Don’t worry, help is provided in knowing what will make these kids overjoyed to receive their gifts. Working with Samaritan’s Purse assures that the kids not only receive your gift, but information in their own language about the greatest gift of all, God’s Son. Christ8as decorations for Or=han Minist&’ Want to make a difference and add wonderful decorations for your holiday home at the same time? Some of our ladies have invested an incredible amount of time, effort and beautiful materials to make a beautiful collection of wreaths, paintings and decorations. We will be auctioning these items in a silent auction and all proceeds will go to give gifts to orphans being supported by our partner congregations in Latvia. Caring Tree Soon there will be a very special Christmas Tree in the building. Not the large tree which so beautifully decorates our sanctuary for the holidays, but a smaller tree, full of white paper ornaments. Each ornament contains information about gifts for a young mother and children who are in a home for women fleeing abusive relationships. These women have left everything and have nothing to give their children. As you take an ornament to purchase items needed and desired, replace the white paper ornament with the ornaments provided and watch as the decorations change on a weekly basis. Don’t forget our Thanksgiving Dinner at 18:00 in the Fellowship Hall!
