Transcript of Hoffman-White Wedding
My role for this event was to serve as the bride’s assistant for all of her ‘day of’ planning. In preparation for this, I met with Jennifer roughly 6 times prior to the wedding day.
I was with Jennifer for the entire day of her wedding, not only catering to her every need but also anticipating her next want and desire and handling things accordingly.
Jennifer and Marc met in January 2007. Engaged in February 2008. Married in May 2009.
I was responsible for styling Jennifer and her Bridesmaids.
I met with Jennifer for selections, fittings, trials, etc.
I met with the Bridesmaids also to select their gowns.
The budget for the Marine themed wedding was $30,000.
The Event came in under budget by 10%, because the brides attire was gifted to her by a family member.
85 guests The non-denominational ceremony was
held at the Sheppard of The Sea Chapel in New London, Connecticut.
The reception was held on the property of a family member, complete with large tents.
The menu consisted of BBQ style fair such as grilled chicken, corn bread, various salads, cake and pastries. Served buffet style.
The Bar was an open bar for the cocktail hour and cash bar for the duration of the reception.
The music was provided by a DJ. Later in the evening, pizza was provided
for the remaining guests.

The most challenging part of this event was that the tents were set up incorrectly. Guests had a hard time maneuvering around.
Also, the rings were left in Westerly, Rhode Island and the ceremony was in New London, Connecticut.
However, nothing went wrong with the bride herself…so my day wasn’t nearly as stressful as it could have been!
