PAWSITIVITY’s mission is to allow pet owners to spend every moment loving their furry
friend and not a single moment questioning their health.
Believe in us because we make a product that consumers need (litter). Data shows it is a
great seller and consumers will buy it. The litter benefits the owner and the pet in peace of
mind and the health of the pet. The risk is worth it because it really isn’t much of a risk since
consumers should buy litter. Our product is simply a better, premium litter.
Muesli Operational Plan
January 2016 to May 2016
Members: Hoang "Lee" Dang, Maxwell Harry, Jorden Runeberg
Our team has been provided a data set encompassing historical data for a number” of
companies competing in the Muesli cereal market. The objective is to analyze this data set
with the SAP BO tools (Explorer, Analysis, Lumira and Dashboard Design) in order to select
a company that we would recommend purchasing in order to increase the success of that
company.
The initial analysis cover all aspects of the company across the 8 rounds of data available
and include: Sales, Production, Procurement, and Finance. The initial analysis concluded
with a method of interpreting the value and a purchase price for the company our team
selected.
In addition to the initial analysis, we provided a plan that would include projected raw
material procurement, suggested production levels, marketing expenditures, transfer
requirements (HANA data set) and anticipated sales volumes.
BlueStar Office Supply - Company Study Case
August 2015 to December 2015
Members: Hoang "Lee" Dang, Muhamad Aladdad, Connor Brown, Nate Michaud, Paul
Stevenson
BlueStar supplies products to major retailers, distributors, wholesalers, small business
owners, and consumers. BlueStar generates annual revenue of $950m. Their primary
market consists of the United States and Canada also supplies a minority of business
revenues.
BlueStar company has made some regretful decisions in the last year that is affecting
product margins and the sustainability of the entire company. BlueStar has a large market
share, but they have experienced numerous problems within their supply chain and more
specifically in their transportation group. Transportation costs now account for over 30% of
product costs and BlueStar cannot remain competitive if this is not rectified. It was clear that
transportation cost reduction is a key priority for the company. We want to focus on
strengthening relationships and getting back to using or our old core carriers in the form of
truckload.
Grand Comics Database (GCD); SPARK Database Consulting and Design - ISYS 3293: Systems Analysis and Design

Members: Hoang "Lee" Dang, Annalisa Scharff, Margaret Olateru, Joey Hostetter, Nick
Yarbrough
Web pages and the Internet have become some of the most important things for a business.
In the case of GCD (Grand Comics Database), they have an outdated website and need the
database to come to fruition. The current website is cluttered and hard for users to navigate
so we will be designing a new website that will be easy for users to search what comic they
would like to read and read it easily on their computer, tablet, or smartphone. This new
design will help the GCD compete with brick and mortar comic books stores as well as help
them become a bigger presence in the comic book industry.
The Path to Education (TPTE) for our youngsters, 1ST PLACE - CEO Global Arkansas Chapter
January 2016 to May 2016

Young boys and girls from disadvantaged families and from foster cares lack access to
information about what career options education could potentially create for them.
Organized campus tours exist, but they are very general and short and there is usually no
‘hands-on’ experience included. Furthermore, they are usually targeted at senior high-
schoolers.
We design a flexible itinerary that will include a visit to all the main university departments,
‘hands-on’ experiences and with informative stops along the way. The tour should leave the
kids with a real feeling of college life and what opportunities education can bring. The goal is
to create a fun and engaging experience but, most importantly, it should informative and
leave the kids with a person of contact for any question they might have.
The campus tour is not a typical tour meant to advertise for potential applicants. The
expected outcome is to have kids think about their interests early on and, thus, open the
avenue for them to work towards tailoring their career and future early on.
