Gender-related differences in the scientific research work
Work: for men it overlaps with the social role;for women can also raise conflicts;
Career: for men it is based on the competitivness;for women is based on competence;
Hierarchy: for men it is seen as power gain;for women is seen as aquiring responsibility;
Time: for men is evaluated in economical terms;for women is evaluated in terms of quality of the product;
Interests: for men career and scientific interests coincide; for women the scientific interests may prevail on the careers;
Objectives: for men they are reached by fighting ;for women they are reached by autonomy aquisition;

• Transparency and objectivity in evaluation procedures;
• Re-install the decisional powers in the official institutions;
• Better exploitation of research in multidisciplinary fields, actually considered “ borderline”;
• Evaluation of the scientific outputs normalized against the founds and personnel inputs;
• Abolish gender bias (quotas for men) in favour of meritocracy, evaluated according to new criteria.
