HLFL distributes 4,800 L.I.F.E. Sunday Flyers! Houston Lutherans For Life distributed over 4,800 L.I.F.E.* Sunday Flyers to 16 LCMS Congregations around the Houston Area. (*Living In Faith Everyday) Living our faith with sexual purity does not begin with the Sixth Commandment, “You shall not commit adultery.” It begins with the Second Article and the grace of God in Jesus Christ. He brings us salvation and purifies us to be His own (Titus 2:14). Purity of living does not begin with what we should strive to be but with what God has made us to be in Baptism—pure in Christ. HLFL has produced Custom L.I.F.E. Silicone Wristbands in Small (19cm), Medium (20cm) and Large (21cm) and have a limited quantity for sale at $2.00 each. Houston Lutherans For Life is proud to support The Houston Coalition for Life during this Spring’s International 40 Days for Life campaign - to be held at Planned Parenthood of Houston & Southeast Texas' abortion mega-facility at 4600 Gulf Frwy. HLFL has agreed to staff the vigil between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM on Monday, March 31, 2014. We are looking for a minimum of 3 volunteers for each two-hour shift. Thousands attend The Texas Rally For Life!
Thousands and Thousands of Pro-Life Texans from across the State participated in this year’s Texas Rally For Life. The One-Mile Walk ended with a Rally on the south steps of our State Capital in Austin, on Saturday, January 25, 2014. !
Our two Charter busses were joined by our NEW Youth For Life Bus (High School Youth.) !
For the past 7 years Houston Lutherans For Life has coordinated this Annual Bus trip to participate in this important event that shows the media and our elected officials that Texas is indeed FOR-Life and 2014 marks our GREATEST participation EVER! Our NEW Y4 Life Youth Bus was hosted by Pastor David Vandercook (OSL) and Pastor Jeffrey Ware (Living Word). The High School Youth enjoyed special activities and fellowship with their group and the word from both Pastors is we’ll make it even BIGGER and BETTER next year!!
Many families joined together to be a part of this important event. !
I want to personally thank the scores of faithful members of Houston Lutherans For Life as well as dozens of church members from 8 different Houston Area LCMS congregations for their participation in this powerful, peaceful & prayerful public witness to the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception. I pray for an end to abortion.!
