Successfully completed one project in green belt in six sigma for the reduction of breakdown in curing

and Has won accolades for the same from the Unit head.

Introduced reciprocating membrane sludge pumps in Banbury mill pit and calendar mill pit instead of

centrifugal pump for better house keeping.

Mill guide base and studs modified for reducing breakdown due to compound lumps in mill gap and

achieved 0.25% reduction in compound scrap due to cured compound between mill gaps. Ensured 100 % adherence to PM in Banbury mixer.

Banbury mixer mill blade assembly modified with new pneumatic cylinder assembly for better cutting of

the compounded sheets. Achieved better lubrication efficiency in the mills due to reducing the time of mill grease injection via

plc(suggestion by self with coordination with electrical department). Introduced conveyor trip mechanism for cooling conveyor of dual extruder tread l ine to reduce

production loss and cost of poly amide rods and achieved 0.5 % reduction in extruder l ine loss due to breakage of polyamide rods due to tread loop in cooling coveyor l ine,

Modified mill knife assembly in dual extruder base mill for varying base strip as per specifications.

Modified the dual extruder clamping cylinder base and alignment of the clamping cylinders to ensure

improved clamping and loss of production due to seal leakage in the clamping cylinders and the compound leak from the extruder head

Indigenised PTFE seals of dual locking cylinders of krupp dual extruder for better cost effectiveness.

Indigenised cooling conveyor Teflon rollers and roller locks for better cost effecteviness.

Modified the extruder skiver blade water nozzles for better cooling the blade and hence better l ife. Introduced lechler water spray nozzles in the sidewall cooling conveyor to prevent blisters in the

sidewall. Modified sidewall l ine dancing conveyor to reduce sidewall stretch.

Modified head clamping bolts and die holder for better seating of the die thereby reducing compound

leak through sidewall extruder head Modified bead winding wire roll let off brake for enhancing operator ease.

Modified ply let off in passenger tyre building machine to reduce fabric scrap in tyre building and

achieved 0.03 % reduction in fabric scrap from tyre building Modified triaxial tyre building machine to support the production of OTR tyres and completed and

successfully commissioned 4 of 10 machines.

Acheived 98.2% uptime of the machines against a contracted uptime of 96 % through out the tenure. Acheived 100 % compliance to preventive maintenance activities through proper spares planning and

manpower mobilisation. Represented The O and M team in the major maintenance at M/S Saheli power exports in Mayavaram

and supported the customer to run in the engine much before planned time. Supported customer by proactively planning maintenance aligned with gas station shutdowns and hence

Acheived 8440 hrs of engine operation against a contracted operation of 8400 hrs.

Completed major maintenance of 4* W18V32 engines with minimal support from the service

department and progressively reduced the maintenance duration for all the engines.
