Statements of compliance
CE statement
The CE conformity declaration for the product is fulfilled when the system is built and cabled in line with the information given in the manual and the documentation specified within it, such as installation instructions, cable lists or the like. Where necessary project-specific documentation should be taken into consideration. Deviations from the specifications or independent modifications to the layout, such as use of cable types with lower screening values for example, can lead to violation of the CE protection requirements. In such cases the conformity declaration is invalidated. The responsibility for any problems which subsequently arise rests with the party responsible for deviating from the installation specifications.

6 Take-back information Nokia Siemens Networks customers can contract with Nokia Siemens Networks for environmentally responsible end-of-life treatment of obsolete equipment. The purpose is to recover the material and energy content of the obsolete products and to ensure safe treatment of substances that can cause harm to people or the environment, if disposed of untreated. In a life-cycle perspective, EoL treatment can compensate for some of the environmental impacts of the earlier stages of the products life cycle.
Nokia Siemens Networks Equipment Take Back Solution provides Nokia Siemens Networks customers with an end-to-end service that includes the removal of end-of-life products from the customers' network and ensures end-of-life treatment in an environmentally responsible way. The Nokia Siemens Networks Equipment Take Back Solution is offered in several modules representing end-to-end work flow of the process:
Removal Collection Recycling Project Management In Nokia Siemens Networks or Other Vendor HW Replacement, that is, SWAP cases Take Back Solution brings in Collection and Recycling Service as Removal and Project Management are already included. The pricing is scalable according to the modules.
If customer chooses not to procure Nokia Siemens Networks Equipment Take Back Solution from Nokia Siemens Networks, customer agrees to dispose of any such equipment in a sound environmental manner, in compliance with all applicable laws.
