Pharmacy Informatics F2F Meeting• First face-to-face mtg – May, 2008 at

Washington, DC, with 15 attendees• Defined the role of the VA Pharmacy

informaticists as professionals of any background with interest in the development and advancement on medication-related data and knowledge with continuum and health care systems

Pharmacy Informatics F2F Meeting• Second annual conference – May, 2009, at the

VA Maryland – Perry Point, with over 40 attendees – workgroup members

• Provide centralized informatics programs for informational & training resources, including Pharmacy systems (VistA), FileMan and MUMPS

• Identify and provider subject matter experts (SME’s) to support VA pharmacies nationwide
