History of gloves

-There wasn’t a concern of your hands until the following years of the Civil War.

-The first glove wasn’t allowed so it was flesh colored to make it less obvious.

-By the 1880’s a padded mitt appeared.-By the twentieth century all the players were wearing

baseball gloves.-It was made for protection of the hand, and easier to catch

the ball.

Most Famous Baseball Players

Babe Ruth - he once was a really good pitcher and hitter but he like hitting better so he became a DH. (designated hitter)

Derek Jeter – one of the best, he was a shortstop, and when he got hurt he fought back and didn’t use steroids.

Jackie Robinson – was the first African American to play baseball, also he was in the military before he became a baseball player

Some Rules Of Baseball

Pro- the bases should be 90 feet from each base line.Little Leagues- have to be 60 feet from each base pad.Pitchers- can’t put spit on the ball, and you can’t us pintar to

get a better grip.Batting- you have three chances to hit the ball. If you miss

the ball three times you are out, and if you watch four pitches and they are outside of the strike zone you get a free walk.
