Nicolas Copernicus
Nicolas Copernicus (1473 – 1543) the astronomer who formulated the first modern heliocentric theory of the solar system. His ‘ De revolutionibus orbitum coelestium’ is perceived as the starting point of modern astronomy.
Adam Mickiewicz The most well known
poet of Polish Romantism. He was engaged in political fights in XIX century f He created Polish Legions in Turkey. He died in Konstantynopol in 1855.
