An Example of Historical Fiction

• In the late 1861 the Civil War was in pursuit. As I was running across the field, I heard “Fire!” then “Bam!” That’s when I came across a sweaty, bloody man in agony almost at his death. My eyes started to tear because he was once my friend, but I new I must move on. Then I heard the words retreat, retreat as the other team fled to their home town, and I new we finally succeeded.
