It is an amazing open museum that brings out the local lifestyle, culture and artifacts of Goa and shows the tourists a part of the real Goa, and making sure Goa Tourism is not restricted to the modern approach of only beaches and nightlife. Even the name of the museum “Calizz” means heart in the local Konkoni language of Goa. Cabo De Rama :-

Cabo De Rama is a fort built in 1763 after the mythological god, Lord Rama. It is one of the oldest forts in Goa and an important part of Goa Tourism. This fort has changed hand from Hindus, Muslims and Portuguese, and the renovation of the Portuguese is still visible in the remnants of the fort. After the Portuguese left the fort it was abandoned until Indian Independence when it became a Government prison, which also didn’t last for long and after 1955 the fort went back to being abandoned. The fort now is mostly empty, only visited by a few tourists, but it is a great experience and one of the wonderful places to visit in Goa for history lovers as the remains of the fort still bring out the earlier culture and an essence of Goa at that time. The roads leading to this fort are lined with lush forests and rocky terrains with sudden glimpses of sea.
