• The Historic Areas of Istanbul were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985.

• It includes structions such as the Sarayburnu where the Topkapı Palace, the Hagia Sophia, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Hagia Irene, Zeyrek Mosque, Süleymaniye Mosque, Little Hagia Sophia and Walls of Constantinople.

• (full name in Turkish: Molla Zeyrek Camii), is a mosque in Istanbul, made of two former Eastern Orthodox churches and a chapel. It represents the most typical example of architecture of the Byzantine middle period in Constantinople and is, after Hagia Sophia, the second largest religious edifice built by the Byzantinesremaining in Istanbul.

Süleymaniye Mosque is an Ottoman imperial mosque located on the Third Hill of Istanbul, Turkey.

It is the largest mosque in the city, and one of the best-known sights of Istanbul.

Little Hagia Sophia , is a former Eastern Orthodox church dedicated to Saints Sergius and Bacchus in Constantinople,

converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Empire.

) since its founding as the new capital of the Roman Empire byConstantine the Great. With numerous additions and modifications during their history,
