Nina, you mentioned on the call about stages and how engineering vs. business has different processes. Here you can share why you decided that was best (i.e. because everyone was owning their own excel doc) what were the benefits in doing this? How has configuring Greenhouse helped your recruiting process?

Customized Recruiting

“Each role was going through the same recruiting stages”

We now dissect each role and customize it. Engineering and business roles each have their own interview process.

How we measure success

Casey Marshall
Nina, here you can talk about the different stages your analysts are measuring. (i.e. overall pipeline, phone screens, onsites, debriefs, references, offer acceptance).

Centralized Recruiting

“Everyone was reporting. But in different places. Excel docs were everywhere.”

We formed a Greenhouse group. Our operations team drafted all the stages our recruiters were using and created a standard pipeline.

How we leveraged data to improve

Casey Marshall
This would be great to dive into the learnings you've gotten from the data you're finding. (i.e. you shared you saw a lot of people in your offer stage now you cut it to 4 days for a candidate to get back to you instead of 2 weeks) or the interview loop having 4 people interview a candidate rather than 9. This would be great to uncover how you found this data and how you recommend others leverage this type of info to improve themselves. Are there any things specifically to look for? Or teams to relay on?

“Candidates were getting stuck in the interview process. Pinterest didn’t understand why.”

Our process is now streamlined. Candidates get back to us with their decision within 4 days. And we see where in the process things are getting stuck (i.e. application data / onsite interviews / offer to acceptance). It’s all being measured!
