Eye ball detection in grayscale images (under Dr. Mahesh H. Kolekar)
Used intensity and feature based methods Used entropy based algorithm Developed this algorithm having high speed and high efficiency Successfully developed the real time version
Semiautomatic vessel wall detection and quantification of wall thickness in computed
tomography images of human abdominal aortic aneurysms. (Dr. Kolekar)
Used a commercial segmentation software to extract the outer and inner boundary of the
aorta and then applied image processing algorithms (developed a new algorithm) to
measure its wall thickness and estimating risk of rupture.
CDMA simulation (Dr. Preetam Kumar)
Simulation done in Matlab .Various orthogonal and non orthogonal and non orthogonal
codes like Walsh code and gold codes
The simulation was performed for different number of users along with variation in SNR
