to help students correctly use verb tenses in any sentence.

Learning Objective: Given a list of sentences and verbs, the student will be able to place the correct verb tense in each sentence will 90 percent accuracy.

Content Standard: CCSS.ELA-Literacy.L.3.1e Form and use the simple verb tenses.

Remember to make a verb past tense you add ed to the end of the verb.

In this activity students will get in 2 teams on opposite sides of the room. One team will begin to act out a verb that is listed on the next slide. The opposing team will have 15 seconds to guess the verb that is being acted out.
