I was a boy of age 12, in 1968, when reading newspapers in Santiago, Chile, I cameto learn for the first time, of the empty-handed fight of the Mapuche people torecover their lands and rights which had been taken away from them, through thepath of history, by the state of Chile. Hilario Lienlaf was always part of thatstruggle. My admiration and respect to his memory and the Mapuche Chile in SouthAmerica. 2. I loved your father like my own, he is a wonderful man. 3. He is a fine example of a father and husband. I always admired his will to be strong and persevere. 4.
