You can hike in Slovenia in all seasons. Summer is ide-al for visiting the high mountains, because most of the snow melts in June. This is also a season known for afternoon storms, so you should observe the old saying that “the early bird catches the worm” in order to hike in the mountains safely. Autumn is the most beautiful season for hiking. Colourful forests, yellow larches, blue skies, and white limestone rocks are un-forgettable images that hikers can take back to the valley with them.
