2 2014 Sport Education Roadshow: Higher, Faster, Stronger
About the Forums The Northern Territory (NT) Government has developed a series of sport education forums to assist clubs and coaches build the capacity of their sports to improve participation experiences for athletes from grass roots to elite.
Coaches will hear how to enhance their technical skill development and be exposed to current best practice coaching methods across a range of topics that are practical to implement into any coaching environment.
The Alice Springs and Darwin Forums will include a Coach Masterclass, developed for career coaches or those who have an active role in athlete development within their sport club or school. Participants can attend the full day schedule or choose to only attend the sessions that are most relevant to them.
The key focus of the forums is to assist individuals and clubs who have a passion for developing athletes along a pathway of a life-long involvement in sport.

Who should attend? Interested parties may include, but are not limited to:

For Coaches
All attendees will receive a Certificate of Participation noting the number of
professional development hours attended. These hours can be used to maintain
or update your coaching standards within your sport. Please refer to your own
sports coaching framework for information regarding professional development.
For Teachers
The Higher, Faster, Stronger Sport Education Forums may be used to accrue
hours of Professional Learning Requirements of the Teacher Registration Board.
The topics may be linked to the National Professional Standards for Teacher

This full day Masterclass will be delivered to current and aspiring representative
coaches by NTIS coaches and external speakers. Topics include practical
methods of developing athletes, video analysis and review, creating optimal
learning environments and replicating game demands in training. See the
