About Maharshi Dayanand University – It has established as

Rohtak University, Rohtak, in 1976 with the objective to promote

inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of

environmental, ecological and life sciences. Besides, the

University runs some programmes through its Indira Gandhi P.G.

Regional Centre, Meerpur (Rewari) and University Institute of Law

& Management Studies (ULIMS), Gurgaon. The Regional Centre

The Problems faced by MDU - Before Automation

Until 2008 there was no automation of processes in MDU. In 2008,

the University had invited a local software vendor to develop and

implement a complete automation system. The newly developed

system could not be implemented and it failed because scope of

work was not defined and they were not experienced in managing

the requirement of world level university system.

In 2008 MDU engaged Nysa Communication Pvt. Ltd.As to

overcome following issues faced by MDU at That time.
